Tonight we had another emergency room scare...this time it was Sydney. Jon had a softball game (the first of the season) and I had worship team practice. So he took the girls to the game and Jen watched them for us. Well, Syd was climbing the bleachers and fell through. She busted her lip and messed it up pretty badly. Jon calls me at practice and tells me to meet him at the ER. He said nothing else!!!! I was freaking out all the way there! We got there and the nurse started to check us in and told us it would be a 5 hour wait! She looked at the lip and told us we could probably take her home and bring her back in the morning if it still looks that bad. But she said they really couldn't do much for the inside of the lip. So we brought her home, gave her some Motrin and put some ice on it and put her to bed. We figure the worst that can happen is if she wakes up in the middle of the night and it starts bleeding again. We will call our doc in the morning and hopefully get her in to see him. Also, poor Jen, she was so upset, she was bawling! I would have felt the same way, but I know it could have happened with anyone. I will keep you all updated and let you know what happens with the fat lip.

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I will just say it up front and apologize for not updating my blog more often. It may get a little hit-n-run for the next few weeks (or months) since we sold our house and will be closing in two weeks. Everyday I walk in the door and I feel so overwhelmed, so I pack a few boxes and I think I've gotten a lot done but if I really look around, there's still so much to do.

Punk Rocker!
The girls have gotten into this new thing where they like to climb up into our bed and get all covered up (even though they don't like their own covers at night), then they say they are going "night, night" and we have to kiss them and close the door. It's so cute! Maybe someday they will actually share a bed that size (or smaller), definitely when we are on vacation and staying in a hotel.
We are going to the Easter egg hunt at the church today at 2pm. It's so freezing cold here that they will have to do it inside. Oh well, the girls will still love it! I will post pics this week of their beautiful Easter dresses (thanks to Nana) and from the hunt today. Happy Easter!

Well, we had a first last night. I had made something new for dinner. Nothing weird, just pasta and veggies and chicken. And I even used cute little bow-tie pastas! Kenzie took a bite and decided she didn't like it. So...she put her hand in her mouth and proceeded to throw up all over the table. Just lovely. Of course, Jon wasn't there to help out, so I had the fun of cleaning it all up myself. I'm trying not to take it personally (that she didn't like my invention), I actually liked the meal and Jon ate the rest of it when he got home. Usually the girls like my cooking, so hopefully we're not starting some trend! Then Ali calls and tells me that Brendog threw up in the nursery at church...it was the day for puking! Luckily, it was just a one-time thing and not the actual flu. Praise the Lord!
