Update
I promised Parkway people that I would be better at keeping up with my blog and now here we are, already three weeks back from Roanoke and I've only posted once! Sorry guys!
We've been busy, busy and sick, sick. Poor little Sydney (and daddy too) came down with the influenza A bug that has been going around and there is nothing that can be done for it. It's also the kind that lingers forever and just doesn't seem to go away. The cough and runny nose are still around, but luckily today there has been no fever and Syd was actually playing a bit where the last week has been mostly laying around doing nothing.
I was busy doing so many interpreting jobs last month that it's nice to pretty much have this week off and be at home with the girls. I took them to observe a preschool last week and we went ahead and registered them to start in the Fall when they will be turning four. That was pretty weird...signing up my babies to go to preschool. Surely they are still too young to go to school? Where has the time gone? But really, I am looking forward to it and am excited for them because I know they will love it.
Things are going well with Journey Church. Last night we had our fifth Newcomer's Gathering at our house and had seven people come. We've had a long stretch of snow and freezing temps that have put a slight damper on church attendance, but we are still hanging in there and each week seem to have someone who is new or dosn't know Christ or just needed to hear what was said during the service. God always encourages even when we are undeserving of it. We are constantly amazed at His goodness.

so sorry to hear you guys have been sick. Glad to hear you are getting better though.
As I am sure you have heard, the high winds really tore through here last night. Power outages everywhere, several brush fires, its crazy.
Thanks for the update. the sickness is going around here to. It's nice that the temp is pretty good, but it fluctuates so much its hard to predict.
Glad things are good for you all and know about the bug around, same here in Roanoke too. :-) Frank and I are still discussing if want to enroll our son into pre school this Fall since his speech seem start to get improved now. We had the power outage for 2 days (Sun/Mon) in Roanoke, VA due to high wind & fire on the mountain and we stayed at Frank's mom's, the power was restored last night and we went back to home, but we are very tired and know things will go back to normal in couple days. :-)
Dude, i didn't know you had registered them for preschool!! we need to talk! :)
It's sad when you learn things from your own sis on her blog! Sorry!
Tell Jon I can relate with having the Influenza A. Had it a year ago and it is not fun. So sorry :(.
Hope everyone is feeling 100% better! It is no fun to be sick. I can't believe that you registered the girls for preschool, that blows my mind. Dennis will be shocked when I tell him! I guess you have to let them go sometime though:) Jen
